Matt Roff is raising money for Kennedy St CiO
Story
The Beachy head Marathon is one of the biggest off-road marathons in the UK across the South Downs National Park.
I didn't think i would recover in time to complete this, but with some good friends from Brighton and Hove Frontrunners i will take on the challenge. Not to run for a time but to enjoy the experience and raise money for Claire and the team at Kennedy Street.
Kennedy Street are a Brighton based charity that I had the pleasure to work for during my furlough last year, they help those affected by addiction with a focus on recovery. They help people get into recovery, support their families and help them to stay in long term recovery and lead productive lives.
Recovery from drink and drug addiction transformed my life and charities like Kennedy street help to raise awareness of how to begin the process and will transform the quality of life for many others for years to come.
They are currently raising funds to open their own café base like a recovery club house like they use in the USA so any donations are appreciated,
