For every £1 donated, 71p goes directly to our work to end factory farming. The remainder is invested in fundraising to grow our campaigns and the global movement against the world’s biggest cause of animal cruelty
We as ‘clean eaters’ and people who take their protein intake very seriously sometimes don’t take the time to think about where our meat and poultry comes from and how it is farmed. We as the powerful consumers, by the way we spend our money, have a morale obligation to support companies and farms that ensure the welfare of the animals we consume are farmed ethically. Not only to ensure our own health but also because its morally the right thing to do. Animals are sentient beings with feelings and awareness. They feel the pain of bad slaughtering methods and ill treatment and they know suffering with cruel farming practices and environments that breed disease, injury and misery. With your help we can improve the lives of many animals before they are slaughtered. This is something I’m very passionate about and I hope that you can take the time to support this noble and worthy charity too.
With this in mind I am supporting Compassion In World Farming by leading a team on a trek across London 43km (just over the same distance as the London Marathon), down The Thames path from Hammersmith bridge to The Thames Barrier. Zigzagging over some of the 15 bridges we will pass
