Doing this walk in October as a way of making a positive move towards the horrible disease that is affecting my Mum. She's in a care home now and is well looked after but she doesn't really know who I am anymore and cannot really communicate with anyone at this stage.

I really hope you can spare the time to donate and a few pounds/dollars to help our team hit our target and beyond.

I'm doing it for my Mum and for the hope that we can find ways to detect the varying Alzheimers related illnesses and hopefully halt them in their tracks. Cheers.
