Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In April I will be running the Brighton Marathon, all 26.2 miles of it... I have therefore decided to raise money for the Clock Tower Sanctuary, a charity that supports young homeless people by helping them take back control of their lives.

I found choosing which charity to raise money for particularly difficult owing to the fact that there are so many problems in the world right now, many of them affecting me quite deeply, and although my initial choice was the "Donald Trump Assassination Fund" I eventually opted for a homeless charity as this is an issue that has grown exponentially in the last few years. A friend recently told me that 1 in 69 people in Brighton are homeless and this number can be confirmed in a recent article in the Argus...

We are all much closer to homelessness than we think, and often the person in question is there through no fault of their own. I find it astonishing that in todays society homelessness is as big a problem as it is. Therefore I ask you to please give generously to help a young homeless person turn their life around. Thanks guys!
