Fundraising for Glossop Mountain Rescue Team
Story

I am running the Spine Challenger MRT one of Britain’s most Brutal races. 110 miles from Edale in the Peak District to Hawes in the Yorkshire Dales.
I will have 60 hours to complete the challenge carrying a full range of kit from enough food to keep me going to full survival kit including sleeping bag and stove.
The challenge takes place in the middle of winter and the weather is expected to be at least wet and windy with a risk of snow.
I am doing this challenge not only for myself but to raise money for my team Glossop Mountain rescue of which I have been a member for 21 years. The aim is to raise enough money for the team to buy a Drone to be used in search and rescue saving time in searching wide areas and saving lives.
