Dementia is a horrible thing.

A few years ago my grandad died. Last year my great aunt died. But the truth was that both had "gone" long before they passed away. Dementia had robbed them of their memories, their personalities, and everything that made them who they were.

I am not going to cure this disease, but perhaps I can help the people who will.

This time last year I didn't - couldn't - run at all. Now I'm going to do run 10 kilometres, in the Wargrave 10k on 11th June. You're all welcome to come, and point and laugh. Just chuck us a few quid for the privilege, eh? It's for a good cause, after all.
