Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page!

I urge whoever visits to sponsor myself and James to paddle the 125 miles from Devizes to Westminster! Looking back, it seemed like such a good idea at the time. Having now been through the agonies of the training and selection I can't imagine not doing it. The camaraderie between the RHS paddlers is immense and my partner James Rutledge, the one behind me in the Canadian canoe has spurred me on and we feel up to what has been referred to as the 'Kayakers Everest' by competitors!

I feel somewhat melancholy when I think that to me paddling on this water is a sport, albeit a tough one, yet to many others even access to drinking water is denied, despite it being a fundamental human right. So please, i implore you to give whatever you can, any contributions are greatly appreciated be it big or small. i believe that together we can help provide a better life for those who are less fortunate! Pester your friends, family members and anyone you know to help our cause!

Please dig deep and donate now.
