Story
Nacoa (The National Association for Children of Alcoholics) is a Bristol based charity founded in 1990 to provide help and support for everyone affected by a parent’s drinking. We believe that every child has the right to a happy childhood and to live a creative and meaningful life.
I am running London to remember all the happy times I shared with my brother Paul who lost his lifelong fight with alcoholism last summer at only 59. I also want to celebrate his two children Holly and Jack. My niece and nephew are strong, successful independent people that had to learn to cope with the pain of growing up surrounded by the sadness of an alcoholic parent.
