No-one should have to suffer through cancer alone, especially not young people. As a group we know people who have benefited from the work this charity does, so this is why we are fundraising in aid of the Teenage Cancer Trust, a charity dedicated to supporting teenagers with cancer. The trust and endeavours to give teenagers with cancer the best quality of life they can have, both during and after treatment. The trust helps build and run specialist units in NHS hospitals aimed at giving the best possible care to young people. They cater specifically to their needs and provide support to them and their families throughout treatment, and help get them back on their feet afterwards.
Our challenge is to cover about 1000 miles on bikes, cycling without a support vehicle from St. Malo, the northern tip of France's west coast, down across the Pyrenees and into northern Spain, finishing in Barcelona. We'll be covering around 80 miles a day, roughing it in a tent and pushing ourselves up some of the hardest climbs on the Tour de France, in order to raise as much money as we can for such a good cause.
So what are you waiting for? We're doing our bit. Do yours. Donate now!
