Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit our "Just Giving" page.
My brother in law and I have committed ourselves to taking part in "Tough Mudder" on 8th September 2018. We are doing so to raise some much needed funds for the Firefighters' charity.
The Firefighters' charity is one that not only helps Firefighters themselves, but their families too.

From physical therapy helping heal an injury, to counselling Firefighters through some of the traumatic situations they see, the charity is on hand for an array of problems. They provide mental health services for the Firefighters and families, also offering respite in some cases to aid the best recovery. This all adds to providing the public with the most effective teams, putting the Firefighters in the best health to help the communities they serve.

As a Firefighter, I personally see how events can affect a person mentally and emotionally. I am also aware that some of the dangerous conditions we work in can sometimes lead to injury. When these things happen the FireFighters' charity is there to help, but they can't do any of this without donations. Therefore, we are asking to please help us raise some money for this very worthwhile charity, close to our hearts.
