Story
This September 9 & 10, 2023 I will be hiking the hills of the Lake District for WHY.
Over the past 11 year I have supported WHY through my dear friend Rachel Clark, who asked me to join her on this challenge, with amazing fund raising events.
I have been part of the Bath Half, pulling coaches and fire engines around the streets of Frome, rowing and skittles World Records, ran miles during 2019, joined with monthly events during 2021, all to support Rach for WHY. Her imagination, motivation and dedication to continually fund raise and raise awareness for WHY has won her awards and a dedicated following. Rach also has a fund raising page for this challenge, please check out for page here:

Well this September 9 & 10, I have 24 peaks to climb in the Lake District, including the highest in Scafall Pike, I'll be ascending 9 peaks on day 1, followed by 15 on day 2, a total of 28 miles. i will be training, in fact I have got miles in already, for the next 5 months, getting out to climb, probably the tor, a lot! but I will also find as many steep slopes as I can locally to practice and get my legs ready!!
I would be so grateful of your support to boost me on my way. Please donate as much as you can to support this amazing charity, who run with donations only and have supported my friend when she needed it and have supported many more and with your generosity, will continue to support many more.
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
