Matilda arrived late and in a hurry at 12.50pm on the 14th February weighing 7lb 10oz. Initially greeted by a scrum of medics at York District Hospital, then transferred to Hull for specialist care, she eventually found peace at Martin House in Boston Spa, passing away in our arms at 8:56pm on the 17th February.

 

Matilda has given us nine of the happiest months and three of the hardest but most amazing days of our lives. The wonderful people at The Women and Children's Hospital in Hull and especially at Martin House have helped us find some joy and positivity amongst the inevitable grief and sorrow.
