Bolton Lads & Girls Club is currently the biggest youth centre in the UK, and welcomes all young people aged 8-21 years old.  We are a registered charity, but face annual running costs of £2.6million just to keep the Club doors open 7 nights-a-week, 52 weeks-a-year, enabling us to continue our vital work with our young people. We are supported by a team of around 100 staff, and an army of nearly 400 volunteers, and the Club prides itself on being innovative, fun and without a doubt, the leading youth centre in the country. As well as the basic 7 night-a-week youth club service, the Club also provides a wide variety of programmes to over 3,000 young people each week - ranging from recreational opportunities, performing arts, and a diverse range of sporting activities.  We also provide much needed intensive support, guidance and training for some of the town’s most at risk youngsters, via mentoring in one-to-one and group sessions.
