Support communities to continue to save lives in childbirth and help villages in Uganda and Malawi to be resilient to coronavirus: providing soap and sanitation to households and safe health promotion on hygiene, hand washing and social distancing.
Story
We are supporting Maternity Worldwide to continue to save lives in childbirth in low income countries at this extremely difficult time and to help the villages where they work in Uganda and Malawi to be more resilient against the coronavirus COVID-19.
MW are providing soap and sanitation equipment to households which do not have access to running water; safe education on hand-washing and social distancing and supporting rural health facilities with training and improving access to PPE.
Please help me to help them!
Thank you so much

Maternity Worldwide has a vision of a world in which all women and their babies are able to access safe and appropriate childbirth regardless of where they live. We exist to reduce mortality and injury associated with childbirth in Sub-Saharan Africa where the risk of dying in childbirth is highest.
