Story
AFTER THE EVENT:
I made it, thank you so much for your support to this worthy cause, I completed the 124 mile Sportive in 8 hours albeit suffering from cramp for the last 40 miles. It was definitely worth it to support my Sisters Charity The MSA Trust. You were amazing, including gift aid we smashed the £1,000 target and have reached over £3,000.
If you haven't yet signed the petition I would be so grateful if you could do so by visiting:

BEFORE THE EVENT:
Multiple system atrophy (MSA) is a progressive neurological disease with no known cause or cure. It is a rare disease with around only 3,300 people diagnosed in the UK and Ireland.
Symptoms of this degenerative condition include deterioration in walking, speech, balance and continence, it is a terminal illness with people typically living about 7 to 10 years after MSA symptoms first appear. Occasionally, people can live for 15 years or longer with the disease.
My younger sister Marie has now been suffering with MSA for a number of years and unfortunately her condition continues to deteriorate. Please help me to raise awareness of this unfortunate disease. Should you wish to help then please consider signing the MSA petition which will help this Trust immensely in their drive to seek further support. The link to the petition is as follows:

I am riding at the Castle 100 Sportive on 9th May and have chosen to ride the Epic route which is 124 miles. I am raising money for The Multiple System Atrophy Trust. Any donation, no matter how small, would be most gratefully received.
Thank you so much.
