Story
Nyah has two sight conditions. Nystagmus ( https://www.webmd.com/eye-health/nystagmus#1 ) and Oculocutaneous Albinism ( https://ghr.nlm.nih.gov/condition/oculocutaneous-albinism ). She has had them from birth and has therefore developed incredible coping strategies. To the point where unless you know her as well as we do, you may not even realise she has severe conditions at all. When she was a baby we had lots of help from the wonderful Sheffield Royal Society for the Blind (SRSB) and we have done fundraising for them in the past. From Nyah's own allowance she pays into helping train Guide Dogs on a monthly basis already. This is something we hope she will never need, yet it is something close to her heart. After much soul-searching she felt the hardest thing she could do was to go without sugar or sweetners for a whole week. So no fizzy drinks (diet or full fat), sweets, chocs, yoghurt, school dinner puddings, NOTHING. She's already 9 going on 19 so we're ready for full-on WARFARE as the withdrawal kicks in! Please support Nyah on her personal challenge and help to fund Guide Dogs too! Thanks
