Story
Can we take the heat or will we be kicked out of the kitchen?
Tech Tasters consisting of Harry Toland, Krishnan Subramanyan and Sharna Peach, are taking on the Nomura Master Chef Challenge to raise vital funds to grant magical wishes for seriously ill children.
Will Harry go all Gordon Ramsey on us, will Sharna take a leaf out of Keith Floyd's book or will Krishnan bring out a calming Michel Roux Jr influence to the whole proceedings.
Between July and September, teams of three will be competing for the Nomura Master Chef Trophy 2015.
We will be testing our cooking, creativity and teamwork skills and finding out what it is like to work in a professional kitchen with first class chefs, going head to head in this inter-divisional challenge with a number of stages:
Group Stages: Compete against two other teams within our divison to recreate a three-course meal cooked by the professionals. The team that produces the meal, in the opinion of the resident Chefs, will go forward to the semi-finals
(When we make it to the) Semi-Finals: Compete against two teams from other divisions. The two semi-final winners will compete in the final challenge
The Finals: The two semi-final winners will compete in the final challenge, supervised by a celebrity chef
The Winners: Presented with The Nomura Master Chef Challenge Trophy and a fine dining experience at the Chef’s Table in the 11th floor kitchen at Angel Lane
Please dig deep and make a difference to Rays of Sunshine. 100% of your donations will brighten the lives of seriously ill children and their families, by granting magical wishes.
Thank You
Harry, Krishnan and Sharna
