Story

In memory of Mason Clarkson-Carter, a former South Hunsley student who sadly passed away in November 2022. Team Hunsley are raising money for the Sick Children's Trust who supported Mason's family during this incredibly hard time.

The Sick Children's Trust is the charity that gives families with a seriously ill child in hospital a comfortable place to stay and a friendly ear to listen in one of our ten Homes from Home. Hospital can be a lonely and scary place for anyone, but especially a child. Providing families with somewhere to stay together just minutes from the hospital means that they can be by their sick childs side and have one less thing to worry about. With the help of so many generous supporters, like our incredible Great North Run team, we have helped over 73,000 families since 1982, with a welcoming place to stay when they have really needed it.
