Mason-Jay is cutting off his hair - help raise funds for wildlife

Fundraising for Suffolk Wildlife Trust
£70
raised of £500 target
Cutting off hair to support wildlife and children with cancer, 27 May 2022

Story

Mason Jay (12) has grown his hair long during Covid to donate it to The Little Princess Trust to help them create wigs for children with cancer and other conditions - see www.littleprincesses.org.uk for more information.

It also gives him the opportunity to fundraise for his local wildlife trust. .  He is passionate about wildlife, a young warden at several Trust sites and helps out at every opportunity. He also enjoys wildlife photography and says Foxburrow is his safe space - a sanctuary during Covid he could go to.  He is very excited about the plans to rewild Foxburrow and is always promoting SWT to people. If you see him at an event do say hello.  Recently he has been pond dipping to measure water quality at Framlingham Mere, conducting earthworm surveys at Foxburrow, restoring paths and clearing litter at Holywells and learning new identification skills at Redgrave and Lopham Fen. He loves building stag beetle habitats, bug hotels and bird boxes and will always help others with this. Please help him reach his target, if everyone does a little it really helps.

Suffolk Wildlife Trust has a once in a lifetime chance to 'buy the horizon.' I'm fundraising to help them create the Suffolk Broads Nature reserve - a 1000 acre wilderness where wildlife can thrive.David Attenborough is also backing the campaign saying: 'Please help Suffolk Wildlife Trust rescue this precious corner of East Anglia and bring back wildlife in all its splendour." Every donation will make a real difference, thank you!
