Fundraising for Dorothy House
In November of 2018 we lost our good friend and former colleague, Stuart Morgan-Nash to cancer. Stuart (Mashy, to his colleagues) was one of life's good guys. He had a smile that could light up a room and a twinkle in his eye. He was larger than life and loved by everyone, not least the thousands of children he taught over the years.
Stuart leaves an enormous hole in the lives of us all but our loss is nothing compared to that of his wife, Nikki, and three children, India, Ella and Austin. Stuart was a true family man.
In the short time that Stuart had following his diagnosis, Dorothy House Hospice offered much needed support and guidance to the Morgan-Nash family. Many of his former colleagues at Warminster School wanted to do something collectively to remember Stuart in a way that would benefit a cancer research charity or hospice and the Bath Rugby Walk ticked all the boxes.
Mashy's Marchers will be doing the walk on 23rd February from the Dorothy House Hospice in Winsley to the Bath Recreation ground, the home of Bath Rugby, where we will raise a glass and enjoy a pie in Stuart's honour (Stuart loved a pie: "food of the Gods")!
Please support our walk so that Dorothy House can continue the excellent work they do to support people with life shortening illnesses.
The Bath Rugby Foundation will also benefit from this worthwhile event.
