Story
We are currently dealing with a hunger pandemic. The world will soon face multiple famines in just a matter of months, people are already and soon more will be on the verge of starvation.
Considering the economic recession and us being on lockdown we are facing a major loss of income, but we are blessed to be sheltered, think about the poor! The UN council predicts that "There is a real danger that more people could potentially die from the economic impact of Covid-19 than from the virus itself."
Fasting during the month of Ramadan does teach you to practice empathy for those who are less fortunate, self discipline and self control so the next time your tummy rumbles and growls at you because you are craving a juicy burger, ice-cream sandwiches, sushi whatever is! Think about the starved ones and share a meal with them!
