This year for my birthday (my second birthday spent in full lockdown by the way :( ) I have decided to run a fundraiser in aid of Irish Cancer Society Cancer Research - and what better way to do this than to tick something off my bucket list and take part in Shave or Dye! 

So this year on Thursday April 1st I will be shaving my head, raising money for ICS, and will be donating the hair to Little Princess Trust. 

If you’re not familiar with them, Little Princess Trust use the donated hair to make wigs for children and young people who have lost their hair. 

It was a tough decision to chose a charity to fundraise for, but I have chosen to support Irish Cancer Society as over the last year I have learned a lot about different types of genetic cancers and how they affect my family. I think its important to learn about the services available in Ireland through the ICS and promote the research being done in this area as it will likely be a part of my life in the future.

Any donations received are taken as a birthday present to me and are greatly appreciated. And to all my family and friends - I will not be accepting any other forms of gifts this year just to be clear :)
