Thanks for taking the time to visit my page. My name is Maryam and I’m going to be climbing Ben Nevis on the 29th August to raise money for the people of Yemen. I hope to also raise general awareness through this as it’s clear more can and should be done for the Yemeni people. 

Yemenis are facing war, cholera, malnutrition and covid. The world’s worst humanitarian crisis deepens and Yemen is on the verge of irreversible catastrophe. 400,000 children are at risk of starving to death. 

These issues are not unavoidable tragedies, they are preventable and it’s our responsibility to help. All that’s needed is your support. We can’t help everyone but all of us can help someone- no matter how big or small your donation is! I will be climbing Ben Nevis for this cause and would appreciate anything, whether it’s £2 or £100, it all counts and will go towards the people of Yemen. £70 – Provide a Yemeni family facing malnutrition with a nutritious food parcel to last one month.

£450 - Provide vulnerable Yemeni with cataract surgery to prevent and reverse blindness.

£6,000 - Provide an entire family whose home was destroyed with a safe brick shelter with rooms, windows and a door.
