PAKISTAN URGENTLY NEEDS HELP, 2 September 2022
Pakistan is currently experiencing extremely heavy rainfall, resulting in catastrophic flash flooding across the country. Almost 1,000 people have lost their lives, while approximately 1,300 people are injured

Story

We are fundraising to support the people of Pakistan who are currently experiencing catastrophic flash flooding across the country. In the hardest hit areas of Balochistan, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Punjab, over 150,000 people are in urgent need of humanitarian assistance, and across all regions, thousands of vulnerable people are facing internal displacement. The crisis is expected to worsen as heavier downpour is on its way. 977km of road infrastructure and 61 bridges have been destroyed, which poses an even more severe threat to the lives of thousands of people.Without access to urgent medical aid, food, clean water, and adequate shelter, those who have fled to higher ground will be at even more risk. £50 can provide a food pack to one family £80 can help purchase dewatering pumps to remove water from flooded homes £100 can contribute towards a cash grant for one family to purchase essentials £150 can provide a 13 ft tent for a family (of up to 8 people) to offer temporary
