My name is Maryam and I am 8 years old. I want to help Cambridge Islamic College. I decided to have a cake stall to help raise funds for its first building. I made a poster saying 'Cakes for the College! Please DONATE generously' and baked cupcakes and decorated them with letters spelling 'Cambridge Islamic College'. JazakAllahu Khairan to everyone who encouraged me and donated - we raised £50 at the course on Saturday, Alhamdulillah!

Your support has encouraged me to do more. I have started my own JustGiving page (with my parents approval) to raise £5000 for the College and to encourage others with the idea to help the College too. 

When I grow up, my dream is to be both a doctor and an 'Alimah (Islamic scholar). Cambridge Islamic College would help me with my goal so it is very important for me that the College can purchase its first building to start full-time classes and grow.
