Proud to Run 2019 marks the 38th year of Frontrunners/Frontwalkers Chicago supporting local LGBTQ+ non-profits through the presentation of a 5K run/walk and a 10K run. This year we introduce the Rainbow Half Marathon as an additional distance option.

Story

I'm fundraising for Proud to Run 2019 because I believe the LGBTQ+ organizations supported by the event are essential to creating a community in Chicago that supports, serves, and empowers all people regardless of race, ethnicity, gender identity, or sexual orientation. We matter and equality matters.

About the campaign

About the charity

Proud to Run Chicago is an annual race held during Pride Weekend that raises money for LGBTQ+ non-profits. We are staffed entirely by volunteers and 100% of the net proceeds go to our beneficiaries. To date, Proud to Run has raised $600,000+ for organizations that serve the LGBTQ+ community.
