We stand for everyone affected by dementia to find a cure

Story

Alzheimer's Research is a cause very close to my family. In 2018 my fabulous husband, Alex, was diagnosed with Alzheimer's. We know the urgent need for research to speed up diagnosis, change the outcomes for the many who will go on the develop Alzheimer's, and to
give hope to the individuals and families affected by the terrible
disease.

The facts and stats around Alzheimer's are currently very gloomy. Alzheimer's is a form of dementia. There is no cure for dementia and currently no drugs available in the UK to slow down the progression of the disease. 1 in 3 people born in the UK this year will go on to develop dementia in their lifetime.
