Never in my life did I think I would run the length of myself but here I am, two years after taking on the challenge of a couch to 5k, now taking on my first (and only) marathon! Alongside my Killeeshil Runner buddies taking on the relay and a couple of other full marathon runners, I’m hoping to complete the 26.2 in one piece.

Since my Daddy and I were both seriously ill in Craigavon Area Hospital together 8 years ago, I’ve always had it in my head to do something to give back to those health professionals to helped us back to health. Daddy’s was a farm accident and mine a pregnancy related complication and thankfully both of us lived to tell the tale. However many others have not been so lucky and if it weren’t for the NI Air Ambulance, there would be many more fatalities in both scenarios.
