Story

I decided to sign up for this trek nearly a year ago thinking that I would have a year to prepare so it would all be fine.

Well, now I'm less than two weeks away and although I can't guarantee I have prepared enough I can definitely say I've given it my all! This last year has all been about getting to the top of the mountain. Evenings, weekends and holidays have all been organised around training!

But, it will all be worth it in the end because the Salvation Army is worth it. When things get tough they don't give up and go home, they are always there for everyone who needs them any time, any day, anywhere. They do so much more than most of us realise and I hope that my tiny contribution will help them to continue to bring hope to many, many more people in need.

The funds raised will be used to help families spend much needed time together at amazing camps in the Essex countryside.
