Who is The Boy with the Saucepan Hat?
Dear Supporter,
I was inspired to run the Liverpool Half Marathon for Brain Tumour Research when I came across an article on their Wear a Hat Day (27th March 2020). I've just written a NEW children's book - "The Boy with the Saucepan Hat", which is about a boy who gets a saucepan stuck on his head and I thought it would be great fun to work with Brain Tumour Research, using my funny story to support their cause. I decided to make a donation of £1 per book sold (RRP £5.99) to Brain Tumour Research during February and March 2020. (You can donate £5 to Brain Tumour Research if you buy a SIGNED Copy for £9.99!)
I'm also asking my followers, friends, family and colleagues to donate directly to Brain Tumour Research, here, on this page - so you can choose how to donate.
I lost someone very, very dear to me 17 years ago... and I know from first-hand experience what it's like. I made a decision back then that, if I could, I'd do something every so often to help fund research to tackle these killer diseases and conditions. On March 15th 2020, I have the opportunity to help fight this and fund some research which will, I have no doubt, one day prevent someone, somewhere, going through what my family and I have been through.
Please do what you can - donate as much or as little as you can. It WILL all help.
You can either buy the book (at my web site), or donate here.

BTW I'll be running with a Saucepan on my head at the Liverpool Half Marathon on March 15th 2020 - so watch out on local TV coverage!
Thank you.
Martyn
About the Book - The Boy with the Saucepan Hat
Oliver Todd is a somewhat accident-prone child, aged 10-and-a-half. Whe we wakes up one day with a saucepan stuck on his head, he has no idea how it gor there! So mum and dad take him to the A&E department go get it removed. Despite the doctors' and nurses' best efforts, they can't get it off! Find out what happens, over at www.TheSaucepanHat.co.uk
