Story
For those that know me, this is the kind of crazy thing I like to do simply for the sheer fun of adventure, last year I cycled 2,400km in 24 days from England to Bulgaria and wished afterwards that I had done it for charity. So, this time I've decided to do twice the distance in twice the time for 2 charities (The Bulgarian Abandoned Childrens Trust (TBACT) as well as Stop the Traffik). Both are excellent charities for very important causes. If you would like to know more about both of these charities, their links are below.
The reasons for me choosing these charities for those that don't know me, are thus: I have a special interest in Human Rights and also have lived in Bulgaria for the past 5 years and therefore wanted to contribute to two charities that do invaluable work in directly improving the lives of others and in raising awareness of the atrocious acts done by some and the unacceptable conditions endured by others. Please give freely as your money will give me extra impetus to shout at my bike as I slowly climb the numerous mountains in my way.
