Story
After nine half marathons, I have decided to answer the questions that are always on my mind as I cross the finishing line ... what if this was the halfway mark? How would I cope if there was another 13.1 miles in front of me? And, of course, would all my supporters recognise my efforts by offering extra generous donations? In order to answer these and other questions (e.g. can my aging body cope with yet more unncesserary stress?) I have signed up to run the Edinburgh marathon for Diabetes UK. As many of you may know, Harry was diagnosed with Diabetes last September and is adapting to a life of constant monitoring and injections. Diabetes, as a result, is a cause that is close to our hearts at the moment.
