Story
Early in the new year I challenged myself to run in the Kew 10k. It might not seem the biggest challenge in the world. But having put on a lot of weight over the last few years it's been a bigger challenge than just learning to run again. With a month to go I've lost 3 1/2 stone and feel a very different person! But running with asthma and a paralyzed diaphragm is never going to be a walk in the park (even if it's Kew Gardens!) so I need a little incentive... and that's where you come in!
On Saturday 15th September I'll be running for SAT-7, to help make God's love visible to the thousands of people across the Middle East and North Africa. SAT-7 do this through satelite TV and digital media - supporting the historic churches of the region, empowering marginalised women and girls with a voice, and through educating refugee children who continue to face an uncertain future.
Please help me meet and even beat my target - thanks for your support!
PS: In a couple of week's time I'll upload a picture of what I'm planning to run with - which I hope will motivate you to give even more!
PPS: Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to SAT-7. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
