Story

I'm on my way!

..from the 4th September I will be cycling 1000 miles from Lands End to John O'Groats for Save the Children

I will be cycling about 80 miles every day for a couple of weeks, and as its September I expect quite of few of those days will be wet and windy!

1000 miles for £1000 pound that's the goal. I will be paying all my own expenses, so every penny raised will go to Save the Children.

*** and now every pound raised will be matched by a charitable trust ***

Every £3 raised can pay to vaccinate a child in the 3rd world against measles or other deadly diseaes.

Based on previous trips I expect to burn 84,000 calories, eat 14 family packs of jelly babies, drink 42 litres of sports drinks, climb 42,000 feet of hills, be chased by 3.5 dogs, and hear 64 hilarious jokes about Lycra.

Every £5 donated to save the children (1p for each jelly baby eaten!) can be used to buy a mosquito net to protect a child against malaria.

So here's the deal, I will take two weeks holiday, pay my own expenses and cycle from Lands End to John O'Groats, probably in the rain, if you will help me raise money for Save the Children.

Is it a deal? I hope so, as this isn't really about me, it's about children who can't help themselves, so please sponsor me now and help them.

Thank You!

PS: Did I mention I don't like Jelly Babies
