Dad's battle began 4 months ago when he was diagnosed with incurable Metastatic Prostate Cancer.

Dad being the larger than life character that he was, was very optimistic he could keep the cancer at bay and was hoping for many more happy years with his family and friends.

Unfortunately for Dad, his cancer was very aggressive and despite his determination, courage and faith he ran out of treatment options.

However, Dad did not give up that easily and continued his fight right to the bitter end. 

Devastatingly, Dad's fight came to an end in the arms of his family during the early hours of Sunday 28th July 2013 and from this moment our lives changed forever.

Since Dad's passing these days have been very dark for Mum and us girls' however, we all feel very strongly that if any good can come from our pain by raising awareness of Prostate Cancer then Dad's struggle, fight and passing won't have been for nothing.

We are so very proud of our Dad, the way he coped, fought and remained our protector throughout showed all of his amazing qualities and for this he is truely inspirational and will never be forgotten.
