Nick is recovering well and was there to cheer me on at Canary Wharf, a long with family and friends

I managed a 3.30.36, much better than I had hoped for, although I will never forget the pain of the last 5 or 6 miles

Hi everyone,

Some of you may know me as Gonzo, Mushie, Mushtaq or even just Martin, whichever one it is thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On the 22nd April I'll be running the Virgin London Marathon for the Aspire charity in aid of my good friend Nick Morgan, I was lucky enough to win a ballot place.

Nick was attacked in October 2011 which left him paralysed, after he sustained serious damage to his spinal cord. He is currently based in Stoke Mandeville hospital in Aylesbury, where he is receiving his rehabilitation. The determination and strength that he has shown in his recovery has really inspired me.

We are teaming up with the Aspire spinal charity to help raise money and ensure Nick has everything he needs for a bright future.

So please dig deep and donate now.
