Some of you will know that earlier this year my younger brother Robert died of cancer followed within a month by my eldest cousin also of cancer.  What linked these two deaths was the fantastic support our families received from Macmillan nurses. My two other brothers, myself and our wives decided that we wanted to raise money for Macmillan to help them continue their wonderful work. So, on the 23rd July we are taking on a Mighty Hike along the beautiful trails of the Peak District.I have pledged to raise at least £500 and would appreciate any support in reaching this target. It would go towards funding a Macmillan Support Worker for five days who could provide emotional, practical and financial advice to someone affected by cancer.
