We provide maternal health programmes to save lives in childbirth in Africa

Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page!

I am cycling around Ireland (starting in Belfast and then going round the North Coast and down to Ballina in the Republic of Ireland - over 250miles) to SAVE LIVE IN CHILDBIRTH.

Many of you have supported me before when I cycled in Ethiopia last year to see some of the Maternity Worldwide projects. Since that trip last year the programme has had an external evaluation which has shown the massive impact Maternity Worldwide is having - the number of women having a skilled attendant at delivery has increased 56%; 1,200 women have had their prospects improved by income generation groups and there have been over 97,000 attendees at the community education sessions over the past two years.

So your support really will make a difference to women and thier communities!

Thank you for your sponsorship!

Martin
