Story

Thank you for visiting my page.

This event is in my aid of the father of my friend Nick, who was sadly diagnosed with prostate cancer in June 2018. - Please visit the main page to read about Nick’s story.

Originally, the plan was for me to to join the rest of the team on the ride the 18th to the 20th of August. Sadly, due to a number of reasons I will not be joining them on the ride, however, my plan is to complete 10 events over 12 days to raise money for the research into this awful cancer.

The events will run from the 30th of July for 13 days, and will be:

30th of July - Walk to work and back (around 15 miles)

31st of July - 30 miles bike ride

1st of August - 30 miles bike ride

2nd of August - Rest

3rd of August - Walk to work and back (around 15 miles)

4th of August - Walk to work and back (around 15 miles)

5th of August - 30 miles bike ride

6th of August - Rest

7th of August - 30 miles bike ride

8th of August - 30 miles bike ride

9th of August - Walk to work and back (around 15 miles)

10th of August - 30 miles bike ride

All of the events are part of my normal working week which will make it extremely challenging, yet with the support from my sponsors and the knowledge of the good which these donations will make to the future of those suffering from prostate cancer, I am driven to achieve my goal.

The events can be followed my on Strava which is linked to my page.

Thank you, Martin
