Story
I'm sure most of you will remember/ have heard about my little stint in India. There was an SOS Children's Villages van parked outside of the Boys' Home one day, and I thought about how brilliant it would be for the boys to have a stable and secure home life. The boys often talked about home, and I think that SOS Children's Villages are doing a really important job in supporting families and creating families where there are none so that children in difficult situations can enjoy the stability we often take for granted.
If you know me well you'll also know that I'm ridiculously unfit, so if for no other reason than my ridiculous efforts please help me support a great cause! Thank you!

18.06.11 - With little over a month to go, training needs to step up! Aiming to hit the hills more often to strengthen my leg muscles for the mountain...
09.06.11 - Completed the Pinchinthorpe 5k in 31:50, after an exhausting uphill battle! For previous 'practice race' results, please look through my photos.
02.03.11 - So far I can run about a third of the distance...and not very well, but it's definite progress on my inability to run in the first place!
28.04.11 - I'm up to 8.3km and although it feels like I'm dying, I know that it's definite progress! With time left to train until the end of July, I think I really am going to finish. Wish me luck in my first 5k race tonight!
