Event: Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge, from 15 September 2018 to 16 September 2018
This year's Yorkshire 3 Peaks team will be taking on this uphill Challenge on the 16th September 2018 to change a child's life.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.  Martin and I have decided to take on this challenge with the Rosie May Team because we have witnessed first hand the good work that the Rosie May Foundation do.  Many children's lives have been changed by this wonderful charity and they now have a brighter future ahead of them.  We would like you to sponsor us to complete this challenge so that together we can help single mothers and widowed mothers living under the poverty line to learn a trade so that they can set up their own enterprises.  This will enable them to support and care for their children and give them a better future. More information about this can be found on their website www.rosiemay,com

Martin and I also have personal reasons for completing this challenge.  For me its all about returning to full fitness. Just over a year ago I went through spinal surgery and my fitness levels are not what they used to be.  I would love to get them back up there and can't think of a better way to do it!  Fundraising for a charity so close to my heart and getting fit again,  So I am calling this my "Come Back Challenge"

For Martin....well....Its because I told him he has to do it and he replied "of course Jane anything you say!"  He also wants to do it because he thinks that Yorkshire is God's Country,  Being a Yorkshire man I suppose he would say that!  On a more serious note this will actually be Martin's first challenge he has taken on for charity and something that we can do together.

So every penny is much appreciated but just so you know its only the cost of a cup of coffee or a pint of beer to feed a child for a week!  and if its one of those fancy coffee's it might even stretch to two weeks!  Its easy to donate too..

 Thank you in advance!
