Story
As part of the Ark Sports Day Challenge, I have decided to run (or walk depending on how my chronic fatigue holds up) 100km over the next two weeks.
All money raised will go to Ark Evelyn Grace Academy. The
coronavirus pandemic has affected every one of us but especially the students and teachers in profound and long-lasting ways. Students have lost a lot from the disruption to school – they have missed out on learning time, not seen their friends and had no opportunity to take part in their normal extra curricular activities. We have to make up for lost time as much as possible.
Which is why I’m fundraising for this cause. Any donation you make will support the school in three areas:
- Access to technology to ensure students have 1:1 learning opportunities and can learn at home.
- Academic programmes to close the increased learning gap as a result of the school closures.
- Wellbeing and mental health support for those students who require it.
I'm raising money to help, and every penny counts!
Thank you for your support,
Martin
