Story

When someone close to you has terminal cancer you would do anything to change things or have a few extra hours with them. Running the London Landmark Half Marathon seems insignificant when you see what a person with cancer goes through but the cause we are running for is dear to our hearts.

In the last year Martin and I have both lost a parent to cancer, they were both in a position that they could have their last hours at home surrounded by their loving family, however to enable this to happen we relied on the amazing support from local Cancer Hospices.

So we are running this for you Mum and Dad. Martin is hoping to run this half marathon without injury and still be able to walk at the end of it! And I am running two Half Marathons within a week (not sure if it’s poor planning or another one of my crazy ideas!)

We know they will be looking down on us and will be so proud, they were both kind hearted people who would always give to charity so please dig deep and sponsor us no matter how small, it all helps
