Prostate cancer affects 1 in 8 men in the UK. That's thousands of dads, grandads, partners, brothers, uncles, sons and mates. But it doesn't have to be this way. The money you raise will help fund lifesaving research into better tests and treatments

Story

12 years ago at the age of 48, I was diagnosed with advanced prostate cancer.

I was getting up 2-3 times a night to go to the toilet. My wife advised me to go to my GP and like most men I left it for a while. As soon as I saw the GP I was red flagged immediately and quickly received a diagnosis of advanced prostate cancer. I received excellent care lead by Dr. Millar at the City Hospital Belfast.

I'm reaching a milestone Birthday of 60 in May and want to raise money to give something back in appreciation of the excellent care I received from the NHS and to raise awareness amongst men and encourage them to get themselves checked out.

Any donation is greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
