Hi all,

I have been fortunate to obtain a place in this years London Marathon. This year I will be running in support of Children with Cancer UK.

I have been on a 16 week training programme since the start of the year and have yet to take a day off!  My aim is to complete a lifetime personal achievement by running the marathon in less than 3 hours. You are able to see my training progress via my fundraising page. 

For 35 years, Children with Cancer UK has funded much needed research into the causes of childhood cancers, and the development of better, kinder treatments. Their work has contributed significantly to a marked increase in childhood cancer survival rates and improved quality of life for patients. Since 1988, they have increased awareness and understanding of childhood cancers within the scientific community and among the general public.

It would therefore be great if I can raise vital funds for this much deserved charity. If you are in a fortunate position to donate then any donation, however big or small, it would be enormously appreciated.
