Grandad was an inspiration to me, I was always amazed by his kind heart and generosity. I have happy memories of kite flying in Sutton Park when I was young, card and magic tricks as I grew up and lectures on the state of modern football as I got older.

After 17 years I have decided to put my running shoes back on and train for my first half marathon in memory of Grandad.
