Story

So, sadly this summer we lost a beautiful team mate & friend in Felly. David was on a family holiday in Filey, looked up from reading the paper & saw his children in peril in the sea. He immediately went into the sea to save his babies who thankfully both survived but unfortunately David drowned in the rescue. Our beautiful beloved Felly went down with his sword in his hand whilst trying to save his beautiful children. Two life boats from separate stations were launched & recovered David from the water, these unpaid volunteers on a daily basis risk their own lives to save others . Please, if you could donate a couple of quid to the RLNI to help support & maintain this fantastic service in the hope that future generations of our beautiful people are kept safe whilst in utter despair in peril from the sea. RIP FELLY

RNLI volunteer lifeboat crews provide a 24-hour search and rescue service all around the UK and Ireland, while lifeguards keep a careful watch on the UK’s busiest beaches. RNLI lifesaving and drowning prevention depend on supporter fundraising and the generous donations that you and others give.
