Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my Just Giving page.

I decided to apply for a charity place with the MS Trust to show support towards some friends I have who are living with MS

Jolene and Louise both attended Mexico for HSCT treatment (Stem cell transplant) for their MS. This treatment is very expensive but can be life changing. It has been very successful in halting the progression of MS in both ladies; I hope it continues to make a positive impact on their lives.

Jack Jamieson from Yell was diagnosed with MS very recently. I have known Jack and his family all my life and consider Jack to be my "band brother" in Rack n Ruin.  At the time of Jack's diagnosis, I had been considering running the London Marathon again.  I completed the marathon in October 2022 but felt I wanted to achieve a better time.  It felt right to enter the 2023 Marathon and raise awareness of MS through the MS Trust, to continue the valuable work they do in support of anyone with an MS diagnosis.

Thanks Martin
