Five years after first declaring I would never run another marathon, I find myself having committed to my third marathon attempt, the Brighton Marathon, on 10th April 2022... Obviously it appears I'm a serial liar when it comes to these kind of claims and perhaps not to be trusted... although I think you can trust me to finish a marathon.

Perhaps, when I commit to these things, it always feels like I'm running away from something... which may be true, but I would like to think I am running towards something... which may only be the finishing line and some dodgy knees and bloody toes....
