Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On 25 September I will be participating in the Alpine Challenge 2009, a 500 mile charity bike ride across France.  We have formed two teams of four with Simon Martel, David Simpson, Patrick Warwick-Smith, Alan Hilder, Geoff Sillence, Mike Gustar and Steve Skinner.  The Challenge is to cycle nearly 500 miles from Laon in northeastern France through champagne vineyards and rolling countryside, the Jura mountains past ski stations and stunning alpine scenery, and finally Lac Annecy with its historic and picturesque old quarter.

100% of the sponsorship raised will be passed on to our nominated charities including: -

       - Cancer Research UK
       - Macmillan Cancer Support

       - RYA Sailability
       - Oakhaven Hospice

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
